Big City Photographer/Genius in Small Town...
Scott is the most creative, intelligent, and masterful photographer I have ever worked with! His work is highly intuitive, artistic, and beautiful. This kind of high-end artistry is rarely found in a small community like San Luis Obispo County. I would fully expect to see this high-end work in New York, San Francisco, or LA. Mindseye is a studio of the purest art form... Scott can find the rare beauty in every face! I wouldn't consider going anywhere else if I wanted true genius in photo form.
Mindseye is amazing!!!
Scott and Lynn made my 40th birthday masqurade ball into something my family and friends will never forget! They made my guests feel and look like stars. My friends and family were made comfortable and they loved working with them both. They fit right in. I didn't want the "same ol’ pictures", and what they gave me was more then I ever imagined. The pictures are beatiful, creative, unique, sophisticated, gorgeous, and so sweet. I could not have asked for better!!! I am so glad I found them! Scott and Lynn, Mindseye you are the best! Something Unique, Something Original
Out of all the various photographers advertising for Senior Yearbook Portraits, Mindseye caught my attention. From their advertisement, I could tell they were no ordinary studio. The studio itself was welcoming and had a cozy atmosphere. Scott and Lynn were easy going, fun and very optimistic. Throughout my shoot I felt comfortable and wasn't afraid to be myself. When I first saw them, I couldn't believe the pictures were mine. I was impressed. Scott is a very talented individual and really captured my personality. Lynn was kind enough to make me and my mother books to display my photos. I have recieved many compliments on my senior pictures. They spent alot of extra time with me on my pictures and I appreciate all that they have done. I want to thank Scott and Lynn again for my gorgeous portraits. Their talent truly is "far from typical".
The definition of “different”.
Possibly the most talented and gifted artists I have ever met. The surroundings, the personalities, the joy that they put in to their work made the whole experience one that I won't just remember as “getting my photo taken” but rather, as a part of my high school life. I will never for get the jokes and the smiles. And I will defiantly never forget the experience. I first started out with a million ideas for my photo and they had the ability to make them all come true. . . Before, I was an Earth-bound teenager who wanted to get away. And now. . .I am a jester. . .soaring over a gothic city with my escape device, nothing but a bouquet of rainbow balloons. Next stop. . . Gotham City. Mindseye is not just any couple of renegade photographers. . .they will make all your ideas and dreams come true on something as simplistic as a piece of paper. <3 xoxo
Senior Portraits with a capital SMILE!
What a classy experience from start to finish. Scott and Lynn are professional, fun and able to bring such a creative twist to the photo shoot. Their ideas are fresh and the atmosphere they create in their studio is so comfortable. Not only is Scott a fantastic photographer, but the finished product was beautiful! We loved all the photos so much that we decided to have a book made with all of our favorites... My daughter is so excited to share her senior photos with her friends and family! ~ Thank you Scott and Lynn!
What an experience...
Not only did Mindseye Studio create the exact atmosphere and ambiance I wanted in their studio, but they brought it to life in their work. The photos they shot of me are, without a doubt, breathtaking. I had such an amazing time working along side with both Scott and Lynn. I highly suggest going to them for whatever your heart desires; whether it be something crazy or something sophisticated--they know how to capture it all! My younger sister is also getting her senior photos taken with them later this year. The pictures I got were in were pinup, and Rosie the Riveter style. Their work is beautiful :) Simply the best!!!!!
AHH-MAZING
Whatever you want to do when it comes to getting astounding results, Scott and Lynn can definitely make it happen! Not only are they super chill people, but their creativity and great attitudes make it seem like anything is possible. My senior photos came out mind blowing and the shoot itself was a great experience. Hair and makeup is no problem since they have professional people come in and do whatever you need on their own (not to mention for a VERY reasonable price!). I had a wonderful time and my pictures turned out just how i imagined them. If you’re looking for something edgy and captivating, Mindseye is the place to get it done!
Awesome Senior Photos
To start off, Scott and Lynn both are fantastic people! I wanted an off the edge look and they sure gave it to me. They were so confident with words they made me want to get it done at their shop, Mindseye. Right when I walked into their studio I felt comfortable. They led me through the whole process and were so kind the whole time. They kept me entertained and laughing as well. Both of them are so down to earth and easy to get along with. I recommend them every time you want perfect pictures. I can't forget the stylists who did my hair and makeup. The only thing is... I forgot their names, Shute! But I thank them greatly for the outstanding job they did!! My pictures turned out wonderful all thanks to the crew down at Mindseye Studio. Thank you guys so much!!!!!
Senior Portraits
Artist photographer Scott provided my daughter Kristen with shots she requested and they even went on a road trip with her to get the absolute shot she wanted hanging from a railroad bridge. Unbelievable photography. Her appearance in every photo amazed us! Way to go if you want artistic photography for that special moment in time!

I am so thrilled with my whole experience with Scott and Lynn. The two are both sweet and professional and gave me exactly what i wanted for my senior photos. From the first consultation they made me feel comfortable and special, giving me all the time i needed, and helping me figure out what would be best for my portraits. Though Scott is clearly talented in creative manipulations of pictures, he was also able to give me traditional, portrait style senior photos that i could not be happier with. Overall, I loved all my time with Lynn and Scott and would gladly visit Mindseye Studio with future pictorial needs. Thank you guys!
Beyond expectations !!!
Mindseye Studio was the first and only choice for my daughter's senior portraits. Their flyer both intrigued and excited us with the very unique photos. Scott and Lynn immediately made us feel welcome and at ease during the consulation appointment. During the actual shoot they were both ultimate professionals and were warm and extremely considerate of my daughter's comfort. The resulting pictures are everything we wanted and more. Scotts technical ability and imagination is amazing!!! We could not be happier and have proudly shown the images to everyone we know. We will always use Mindseye for our photographic needs. Scott and Lynn are the BEST.
Simply Amazing!!!
Scott, the photographer of Mindseye Studio, was absolutely amazing. He captured the exact ideas we had for my daughter's senior portraits. We wanted something unique and fanciful; he hit it right on! We would not hesitate to recommend this studio to anybody. They are relaxed, listen to what you want and capture beautiful images without any feeling of being rushed. The final pictures are stunning and we couldn't be happier with our choice.
